How does AC work?
Your AC doesn't make cold. It moves heat.
Your system doesn't bring cold air into your home — it removes heat from inside and carries it outside. The refrigerant absorbs heat indoors and releases it at the outdoor condensing unit. A heat pump runs the same loop in reverse.
